Ladder-backed Woodpecker

Cool, damp morning with clouds and mist on the mountains. This guy was in the one of the paloverdes below Camino a Los Vientos on the west side, just below the Fitzgerald’s house. Making a sharp pik and banging away at the tree, quite unperturbed by my approach.
